RNLI Lifeboats.
Welcome to the New Brighton lifeboat web site. We are currently celebrating our 142nd year of saving lives at sea. On average we respond to 50 call outs a year making us one of the busiest stations in the country. The crew is formed entirely of dedicated and professional volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Like all lifeboat stations we are totally reliant on voluntary contributions to keep us in service.

New Brighton lifeboat station operates two rescue craft which can be regularly seen in the River Mersey and the Liverpool Bay. B721 Rock Light our Atlantic 75 inshore lifeboat and Hurley Spirit our inshore rescue hovercraft. Both have been kindly donated to the RNLI and New Brighton lifeboat station.
